Welcome to Vibe Drift Inc. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to these terms of service. Please read them carefully.
2. Definitions
"Vibe Drift Inc.," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Vibe Drift Inc. "You" and "your" refer to the user of our services. "Services" refers to our peer-to-peer rental platform.
3. Account Registration and Identity Verification
To use our services, you must register for an account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account information updated.
Identity Verification: VibeDrift Inc. partners with Didit, a third-party identity verification service provider, to verify user identities and enhance platform security. By using our services, you consent to:
- Providing personal information to Didit for identity verification purposes
- Allowing Didit to process and verify your identity documents
- VibeDrift Inc. receiving verification results from Didit
- Your verification status being displayed on your profile as determined by Didit's verification process
Didit Partnership: VibeDrift Inc. has entered into a partnership agreement with Didit ("Didit Partnership") to provide identity verification services. This partnership enables us to offer enhanced security and trust features to our users. By using our verification services, you acknowledge and agree to Didit's terms of service and privacy policy, which are available at their respective websites.
Verification Requirements: Certain features of our platform may require identity verification through Didit. Failure to complete verification may limit your access to certain services or features.
4. Third-Party Services and Partnerships
Our platform integrates with various third-party services to provide enhanced functionality. These services include:
- Didit Identity Verification: For user identity verification and security enhancement
- Payment processors for secure transaction handling
- Insurance providers for item protection
- Communication services for user interactions
Didit Partnership Disclosure: VibeDrift Inc. has established a formal partnership with Didit to provide identity verification services. This partnership is designed to enhance platform security and user trust. When you use our identity verification features, you are also subject to Didit's terms of service and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing these documents before using verification services.
Third-Party Terms: By using our services, you acknowledge that you may be subject to additional terms and conditions from our third-party service providers, including but not limited to Didit. VibeDrift Inc. is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or other policies of these third-party services.
5. Listing Items
When listing items for rent, you must provide accurate descriptions and maintain the items in good working condition. You are responsible for ensuring your items comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Renting Items
When renting items, you agree to use them responsibly and return them in the same condition as received. You are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
7. Fees and Payments
Vibe Drift Inc. charges a service fee of 20% on all transactions. The remaining 80% goes to the item owner. All payments are processed through our secure payment system.
8. Cancellation Policy
When renting out through Vibe Drift Inc., lenders can choose from three cancellation policies. Opting for the most flexible policy will make listings more attractive to potential borrowers.
LENDERS: Please note that if you, as the lender, cancel the booking, the borrower will receive a full refund.
BORROWERS: Please note, that if you cancel the booking these cancellation terms apply - this will only be valid BEFORE the rental start date.
Lenders can also refund partially anytime before the order is marked as returned - please see the FAQ here.
Cancellation policy: FLEXIBLE
- If cancelled at the latest 2 days before the rental period starts, 100% of the rental fee is refunded.
- If cancelled the day before the rental period starts, 50% of the rental fee is refunded.
- If cancelled on the same day the rental period starts, no refund will be issued.
Example:
You are renting out your hammer drill for Thursday. If the borrower cancels on Wednesday, they will receive a 50% refund. If the borrower cancels on Tuesday or earlier, they will receive a full refund.
9. Insurance and Liability
All items listed on Vibe Drift Inc. are covered by our insurance policy. However, this does not cover intentional damage or misuse. For detailed information about our guarantee and liability coverage, please refer to our Guarantee and Liability Agreement.
10. Prohibited Activities
You may not use our services for any illegal purposes or to violate any laws. You may not list prohibited items or engage in fraudulent activities.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through our website.
